Cash-in-Lieu represents the cash value of any fractional Dividend Reinvestments. Cash-in-Lieu is calculated by multiplying the fractional share by the market value at release.

Any Cash-in-Lieu will be used to reduce the amount you need to pay to your company for the taxes due at the time of the release.
