  What is...?
Total Account Equity: % value
Total Account Equity: % percentage is the amount equal to your total account value divided by the market value of the securities* held in the account. The percentage, which calculates the total value of the account and not simply the margin account percentage, is as of previous day's market close and does not reflect today's activity.

*The market value of options (other than short option positions that are "in the money") is not included in the total account value or market value of stocks, bonds, and funds (long).
