  What is...?
Minimum Equity Call
A Minimum Equity Call means that your margin equity has fallen below the minimum account equity requirement, which is $2,000.00.

A Day Trading Minimum Equity Call means that you are required to deposit funds or marginable securities to meet NYSE day trading requirements. This happens if your account is a pattern day trading account and your margin equity has fallen below the minimum account equity requirement for day trading, which is $25,000.00. If the day trading minimum equity call is not met, then the account's day trading buying power will be restricted for 90 days.
